About the Role

Build and operate a secure, scalable AWS and Kubernetes cloud platform across infrastructure automation, CI/CD, observability, and reliability engineering. The role includes on-call participation, production incident response, infrastructure-as-code, internal tooling, operational automation, and mentoring.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or SaaS production operations
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience operating large-scale AWS production workloads
  • Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience
  • 5+ years with Docker and Kubernetes; EKS preferred and Helm familiarity
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar programming language
  • Experience building and maintaining Git-based CI/CD systems using Argo, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Strong Linux or Unix systems experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: observability, AWS RDS or Aurora MySQL, SLI/SLO, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit, and AWS certification experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for the production infrastructure stack and software build pipelines
  • Improve application security, stability, and responsiveness
  • Train and mentor SRE team members
  • Collaborate across teams on knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Operate AWS-based cloud and Kubernetes environments
  • Use GenAI tools to accelerate infrastructure automation and auto-remediation
  • Build and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code
  • Develop Go or Python automation and internal tooling
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines for deployment safety and velocity
  • Define monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
  • Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement systemic improvements
  • Develop automated operational runbooks and remediation workflows
  • Support production deployments, including during off-hours
