About the Role
You will own risk and decisioning across transaction approval policy and loss outcomes. You will work with data science to turn models into monitored products define thresholds and failure behavior and build loss economics views with finance. You will deliver merchant-facing transparency controls and reporting evaluate risk infrastructure and make product decisions using incomplete data and measurable feedback.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Experience owning a technically complex or regulated product area
- Experience with products where incorrect decisions create company losses
- Fluency with expected loss and unit economics
- Experience productizing models and managing precision-recall tradeoffs
- Track record of shipping end to end without a provided roadmap
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in fraud underwriting credit risk or payments risk
- Cross-border payments experience
- Experience working under regulatory constraints such as NACHA MiCA BSA/AML or PSD2
Responsibilities
- Own approval-rate and loss-rate tradeoffs
- Set risk policies and remain accountable for outcomes
- Productize risk models with thresholds monitoring and failure behavior
- Build loss economics views at portfolio and merchant levels
- Translate exposure into pricing and policy recommendations
- Ship merchant-facing risk transparency controls and reporting
- Evaluate signal providers data sources and decisioning vendors
- Make product decisions with incomplete data
- Instrument products to accelerate learning
