About the Role

As a Principal Product Designer you will drive the long term product vision and design strategy across TIDAL's key product areas. You will lead complex design initiatives end to end from early exploration through shipped experiences. You will partner with Product Engineering and ML AI leadership to shape roadmaps and influence business strategy. You will set the bar for design excellence by defining systems, standards, and quality benchmarks at scale. You will pioneer AI driven design approaches that expand team capabilities and accelerate velocity. You will mentor designers through feedback critique and knowledge sharing. You will identify new opportunities for the business and act on them.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Design experience with a portfolio demonstrating high craft and systems thinking
• Graphic design skills and ability to build cohesive brand and product experiences
• Experience developing long term product vision that informs roadmaps across a brand or multiple products
• Experience shipping impactful autonomous work from multi year visions to iterative releases
• Expertise defining design systems and standards that promote cohesive experiences at scale
• Fluency with AI and new technologies
• A passion for music artists and the creative economy
• Comfort operating on a small fast moving team
