About the Role
You will set the technical direction for high-performance Ethernet front-end networks supporting inference, cluster management, storage, long-haul circuits, and carrier handoffs. You will design and evolve leaf-spine fabrics, establish operating standards, resolve the most complex incidents, guide cross-functional initiatives, and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 12+ years of network engineering experience focused on hyperscale data centre, cloud, or AI infrastructure networking
- Expert operational and architectural experience with large-scale Ethernet data centre fabrics
- Hands-on expertise with Nvidia Cumulus, Arista EOS, or Nokia platforms
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ECMP, and EVPN-VXLAN
- Experience with long-haul circuits, DCI, and optical transport
- Experience with storage networking and shared storage connectivity
- Ability to debug complex cross-layer issues
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence strategy across teams
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and operational strategy for front-end AI infrastructure networks
- Design, review, and evolve large-scale Ethernet leaf-spine and Clos fabric architectures
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex front-end network incidents
- Improve fabric reliability, performance predictability, observability, and operational maturity
- Define standards for configuration, routing, congestion management, firmware lifecycles, automation, and change safety
- Partner on end-to-end system design, including long-haul and storage network integration
- Mentor senior and principal network engineers
- Improve uptime, latency consistency, capacity efficiency, and incident reduction
