About the Role
You will lead regional network delivery, operations, and engineering staff while remaining hands-on with network deployment and commissioning. You will manage carriers and vendors, resolve escalations, oversee capacity and change management, support customers, and drive network automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- At least 2 years in a senior or lead role managing teams and regional or multi-site infrastructure
- Knowledge of data-center networking, WAN edge, and connectivity engineering
- Experience with Nokia SR routing platforms, BGP, VRF, and service segmentation
- Knowledge of Megaport, Equinix Fabric, and customer direct-connect services
- Experience managing carrier and vendor relationships
- Ability to lead network engineers while remaining hands-on
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Network as Code, and CI/CD
- Comfort working in Linux environments and using Git
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Own regional network infrastructure delivery, operations, incidents, and capacity management
- Lead and develop network engineers
- Set objectives and support career development
- Serve as the primary escalation point for regional network incidents
- Maintain network performance against SLA and KPI frameworks
- Deploy, configure, test, and commission network infrastructure
- Support Nokia SR WAN edge, cloud exchange connectivity, and carrier circuit delivery
- Oversee change management, maintenance windows, and capacity planning
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and asset inventories
- Manage carrier, colocation, and equipment-vendor relationships
- Manage circuit delivery, service activation, and SLA performance
- Engage customers on onboarding, connectivity design, and service management
- Partner with Sales and Product on pre-sales engagement and service design
