About the Role

You will establish and lead the site reliability engineering function. You will own reliability across colocation, on-premises, cloud, and customer-facing platforms; define SRE processes and technical direction; lead incident response; and build automation, observability, storage, capacity, and FinOps practices.

Requirements

• 15+ years of SRE, infrastructure engineering, or production engineering experience
• 5+ years leading SRE or infrastructure engineering teams
• Experience building or rebuilding an SRE function
• Linux, networking, storage, and bare-metal operations expertise
• Terraform and Ansible experience at production scale
• Kubernetes operations experience
• Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog experience
• Python or Go experience
• Executive communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the SRE function
• Hire, develop, and retain SRE engineers
• Define and execute the SRE technical roadmap
• Lead critical-incident triage, root-cause analysis, and systemic fixes
• Establish SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, on-call rotations, and incident management
• Own reliability across colocation, on-premises, cloud, and customer-facing services
• Build and own observability platforms
• Own capacity planning, FinOps, and storage-platform migration
• Implement infrastructure as code and self-healing automation
• Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational playbooks
