About the Role

You will define controls and simulation platform architecture and roadmaps. You will create reusable PLC capabilities, lead virtual commissioning, govern platform health and interfaces, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor engineers, and guide technical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define industrial controls and simulation architecture and lifecycle roadmaps
  • Establish reusable PLC capabilities, libraries, templates, and standards
  • Simplify platform variants and lead migration plans
  • Lead controls work across PLCs, motion, safety, networking, and HMI or SCADA
  • Lead simulation and virtual-commissioning strategy
  • Manage platform versioning, compatibility, governance, diagnostics, cybersecurity, and technical debt
  • Govern interfaces across controls, electrical, robotics, embedded, simulation, and software systems
  • Lead architecture reviews and communicate risks and tradeoffs
  • Prototype controls concepts and transition them into production capabilities
  • Lead root-cause analysis and systemic improvements
  • Mentor engineers and improve technical capability
