About the Role
You will build and lead an HMI and UX validation practice. You will define validation strategy and quality standards, create automated UI testing infrastructure, integrate validation with CI/CD, lead debugging across UI and system issues, contribute to feature test plans, and mentor test engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software validation experience with UI, UX, display, or HMI testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience defining validation strategy, methodology, and automation infrastructure
- Experience with automated UI testing and Appium
- Experience with end-to-end test planning from requirements through release sign-off
- Knowledge of Linux, QNX, or Android Automotive
- Understanding of CAN, Ethernet, and HMI systems
Responsibilities
- Define and drive HMI and UX validation strategy
- Establish quality standards for display logic, control flows, and user experience
- Build automated UI testing infrastructure
- Develop test harnesses, simulators, and visual regression frameworks
- Integrate validation infrastructure with CI/CD
- Lead debugging of complex UI and system issues
- Partner on feature test plans
- Mentor test engineers
