About the Role
You will provide technical leadership for hardware-system development, from concept through production. You will define and review PCBAs, lead integration and validation, resolve cross-functional dependencies, maintain engineering documentation, research technologies, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience
- Track record of delivering complex hardware systems from concept through production
- Knowledge of VRMs, high-speed SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, SPI/QSPI, I3C, I2C, and JTAG
- Experience leading electrical, mechanical, and firmware development and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor hardware engineers
- Drive complex hardware-system projects from concept through production
- Define and develop hardware systems for photonic AI infrastructure
- Define, develop, and review PCBAs
- Lead system integration, verification, and validation
- Resolve cross-functional dependencies and tradeoffs
- Maintain hardware design and validation documentation
- Research components and technologies for product roadmaps
- Improve development processes and engineering practices
