About the Role
You will own system architecture from concept through production deployment. You will author system, board, and rack specifications; review partner designs; set technical direction for interconnect, chassis, and rack-scale architecture; evaluate trade-offs; define validation strategies; and align hardware decisions with performance and workload needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hardware systems architecture experience
- Hands-on expertise in interconnect, power, or thermal systems
- Large-scale compute or networking systems experience
- Hardware architecture ownership from specification through production deployment
- Partner design review experience
- Vendor management experience
- Trade-off analysis across interconnect, power, thermal, and mechanical domains
- Technical leadership
- Degree in EE, CE, ME, CS, or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end system architecture from concept through production deployment
- Author system, board, and rack specifications
- Review partner designs and identify misalignment and schedule risk
- Set direction for interconnect architecture
- Set direction for board, chassis, and system architecture
- Evaluate design options through trade-off analysis and scenario planning
- Define validation, bring-up, and qualification strategies
- Align hardware decisions with software performance and workload needs
- Establish specification standards and review practices
