About the Role
You will own digital architecture for a high-speed photonic communication product from concept through production. You will specify mixed-signal and photonic digital designs, develop roadmaps and verification methods, collaborate with customers and engineering functions, and validate hardware against simulation predictions.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of power-efficient digital design flows for high-speed mixed-signal electronics
- Track record of delivering high-volume silicon products
- Knowledge of silicon product-development flow
- Knowledge of digital circuit design for high-speed analog or photonic links
- Problem-solving skills for complex technical problems
- Customer communication skills
- Understanding of SerDes PCS, equalization, and forward-error-correction schemes
- Experience with CAD tools, SPICE simulators, IBIS-AMI simulators, MATLAB, or Python
Responsibilities
- Own the digital architecture of the Passage product
- Lead digital architecture from concept through high-volume production
- Collaborate with semiconductor customers on system architecture throughout product development
- Architect and specify digital designs integrating mixed-signal and photonic circuits
- Develop technology and product roadmaps
- Validate hardware against simulation predictions with test and validation engineers
- Collaborate with RTL and design-verification teams on implementation and verification
- Author, review, and validate architectural specifications
- Identify architectural improvements, risks, and mitigation strategies
