About the Role
Monitor live prediction market positions across Kalshi, Polymarket, Manifold, and PredictIt during night and weekend shifts. Track event resolutions, liquidity, and price movements, execute trades within predefined risk parameters, manage platform operations, document incidents, and collaborate with software engineers on trading strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred; strong graduates considered
- Personal responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail
- Understanding of probability, expected value, and basic statistics
- Basic scripting experience with Python and SQL
- Ability to work independently during off-hours
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfort operating across multiple software platforms
- Prediction market familiarity preferred
- Prior trading experience on Kalshi, Polymarket, or similar platforms preferred
- Market making, statistical arbitrage, or event-driven trading background preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor live prediction market positions during night and weekend shifts
- Track event resolution, market liquidity, and price movements
- Flag anomalies and escalate risk concerns
- Execute trades and position adjustments within predefined risk parameters
- Monitor automated systems for model or execution anomalies
- Manage instrument definitions and account maintenance across exchanges
- Ensure accurate trade capture and reporting
- Document market events, resolutions, and operational incidents
- Coordinate written handoffs with the day-shift trading team
- Assist in onboarding new prediction market platforms
