About the Role
You will conduct new and ongoing research in quantum integrated photonics. You will formulate quantum-sensing solutions, support their practical development, interpret and present results, write peer-reviewed papers and technical reports, and deliver technical presentations to national audiences.
Requirements
- PhD in physics or a related field completed within the last five years
- Complete all degree requirements before starting the appointment
- Qualify for export-controlled technology access without an export-control license
- Obtain and maintain a federal PIV card or favorable LSSO risk determination
- Pass a Federal Tier 1 background investigation
- Submit three letters of reference

- Conduct research on quantum integrated photonics

- Support research and development for practical solution implementation
- Interpret, report, and present research concepts and results
- Write peer-reviewed papers and technical reports
