About the Role
You will develop threat models, select and run AI-risk benchmarks, ensure elicitation quality, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze results, and write technical risk reports. You will also develop mitigation demonstrations and tools and support AI labs with mitigation implementation.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AI safety and evaluation methodologies, including capability evaluations, red-teaming, safety cases, and model cards
- Hands-on model-evaluation experience, including elicitation, LLM provider APIs, and Inspect AI
- M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, AI safety, or a related technical field
- 1+ years of hands-on AI systems, deployment, or safety-engineering experience
- Experience delivering projects in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Technical communication ability
- Ability to produce clear written deliverables under time pressure and incomplete information
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous, international environment
- Alignment with AI risk-management and safety goals
