About the Role
You will lead policy research and development processes, turning open questions into evidence-backed positions. You will manage commissioned research and external partners, work with internal research teams, create policy materials, support international markets, and develop economic-impact reports.
Requirements
- Experience driving cross-functional projects to decisions or completed products
- Policy-generalist experience across multiple issue areas
- Experience designing policy research and developing policy proposals or positions
- Ability to assess research evidence and methods with subject-matter experts
- Excellent policy writing skills
- Understanding of commercial interests and policy positions
- Project management experience with multiple projects and external partners
- Interest in AI policy
Responsibilities
- Run policy-development processes from open questions to agreed positions
- Develop research plans for priority policy issues
- Translate internal research findings into policymaker materials
- Manage commissioned research and external research partnerships
- Own economic-impact reports and related narratives
- Anticipate emerging policy issues and develop supporting materials
- Adapt strategy and materials for international markets
- Draft briefings, talking points, and other policy materials
