You will develop communications strategies for security, governance, and responsible-scaling work. You will advise leaders on sensitive matters, explain governance and regulatory topics, handle media requests, build journalist relationships, prepare executives, and write clear communications materials for broad audiences.

Requirements

• Experience in policy communications involving complex security or governance topics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in issues management and reactive communications under pressure
• Executive management skills
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
• Track record of building media relationships
• 8+ years of policy communications experience preferred
• Experience communicating about corporate governance, regulatory affairs, or oversight structures preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for AI security, governance, and responsible scaling
• Communicate corporate-governance structures and independent oversight
• Advise security, product, legal, governance, and responsible-scaling leaders on sensitive matters
• Develop communications on regulatory frameworks, transparency obligations, reporting commitments, and disclosures
• Manage inbound media requests on security and governance topics
• Build relationships with journalists and influencers covering security, governance, and technology policy
• Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking engagements, and public appearances
• Write blog posts, statements, talking points, and other communications materials
• Support reactive communications with speed, accuracy, and judgment
