About the Role
You will work on a defined computational project involving machine learning, statistics, and evolutionary biology. You will manage and troubleshoot your fellowship work, maintain documentation for workflows, code, and analyses, and publish results, data, code, and methods openly at the end of the fellowship.
Requirements
- PhD in computational biology, statistics, machine learning, genetics, evolutionary biology, or a related quantitative field
- Programming skills in Python or R
- Familiarity with Bash and version control
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or phylogenetic methods
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions
- Written and verbal communication skills
