About the Role
You will build and maintain infrastructure automation and core cloud-native services. You will work with Kubernetes internals and container runtimes, improve CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot distributed systems, apply security controls, contribute to open-source tooling, and improve the reliability, observability, and operability of services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure experience
- Kubernetes administration and internals experience, including scheduler, kubelet, and CRDs
- Go, Python, and Bash proficiency
- Container security knowledge including image scanning, runtime isolation, and admission control
- Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipeline design experience
- Prometheus, Grafana, alerting, and incident response familiarity
- Problem-solving skills in networking, load balancing, and distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Go
- Develop and enhance VKE, VLB, VCR, and Inference services
- Work with Kubernetes scheduler, kubelet, controllers, and CRDs
- Design and improve container runtime integrations using containerd, runc, and OCI
- Improve CI/CD and deployment pipelines
- Troubleshoot networking, load balancing, containers, and distributed systems
- Harden infrastructure through vulnerability scanning, image signing, admission controllers, and secrets management
- Contribute to Terraform provider, Crossplane, vultr-cli, and govultr
- Improve service reliability, observability, and operability
- Collaborate on feature delivery
