About Antimetal
Antimetal is building an autonomous layer between engineering teams and their production systems. The platform connects to existing observability, infrastructure, deployment, and code tools to create a continuously updated world model of the customer’s environment. Specialized agents provide proactive monitoring, incident triage, operational intelligence, and customizable automation, including root-cause investigation, proposed fixes, pull requests, and approved production workflows. It serves teams operating complex software systems and offers integrations with their existing technology stack.

About the Role
Own the foundational systems behind Antimetal’s product engineering, including internal tooling, CI/CD, deployment and observability pipelines, Kubernetes services, data infrastructure, MCP connectivity, OAuth, credential management, and customer integrations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering
- Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design
- Proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes
- Ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production
- Strong code and data modeling skills
- Product-focused approach to platform work
- Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms is a bonus
- Experience with OTEL, distributed tracing, and SRE practices is a bonus
- Experience with agent or LLM systems is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize development infrastructure
- Build and maintain Kubernetes service infrastructure
- Operate CI/CD, deployment, and observability pipelines
- Manage shared libraries, secrets, and platform abstractions
- Own schemas, storage, and access patterns for data systems
- Own the MCP gateway and customer connectivity layer
- Manage OAuth, credentials, self-hosted MCP servers, and integrations
- Set production readiness standards
