About the Role
You will own the technical direction of platform infrastructure while remaining hands-on with critical system design and implementation. You will build and operate GCP workloads, authentication, Kubernetes services, networking, databases, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability systems. You will troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call, make architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and evolution of platform infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain reliable platform systems and services on GCP
- Develop critical systems in Go
- Design and implement OAuth 2.0 authentication systems and integrations
- Operate workflow orchestration with Temporal
- Build and operate production workloads on Kubernetes
- Design and manage VPC, Cloud IPsec, and KMS infrastructure
- Design and operate Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL systems
- Improve CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Establish observability, monitoring, and alerting across platform systems
- Lead complex platform and infrastructure problem solving
- Own production issues and participate in the on-call rotation
- Drive projects from design through implementation and operation
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering practices
