About the Role

You will design and implement cloud solutions, automate infrastructure management and delivery pipelines, and improve cloud governance and security. You will provision, configure, upgrade, and monitor Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and distributed databases. You will evaluate architectures, support hybrid-cloud operations, and maintain reliable production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles
  • Deep production experience deploying, operating, and scaling Kubernetes, including on-premise clusters and Amazon EKS
  • Expertise designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills
  • Experience operating highly available, scalable, secure cloud-native platforms
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills
  • Automation and scripting proficiency with Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora, Redshift, and DynamoDB
  • Experience leading technical initiatives, influencing architecture, and mentoring engineers
  • Communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to react quickly and accurately to changing market conditions
  • Ability to solve math and coding problems quickly and accurately

Responsibilities

  • Ensure cloud services follow best practices across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Manage public-cloud growth and improve the hybrid-cloud operating model
  • Evaluate solution architectures and provide recommendations
  • Provision, configure, upgrade, and monitor Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and distributed databases
  • Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab
  • Explore cloud-native and container technologies
  • Monitor systems, clusters, and cloud deployments for errors and performance
  • Maintain performant and reliable production systems
