About the Role
This hybrid role focuses on analyzing user behavior, performance trends, and key metrics; identifying anomalies; building dashboards and automated reports; translating findings into recommendations; defining KPIs; documenting analytical work; and contributing to modeling and experimentation under guidance. The role offers mentorship and growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics, data, or operations; internships count
- Strong SQL skills
- Ability to read code and write basic Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and analysis
- Experience contributing to a shared analytics codebase or modern data stack such as Snowflake or BigQuery, dbt, and Git
- Analytical curiosity and a structured approach to problem solving
- Good communication skills
- Initiative to automate repetitive tasks and improve reporting workflows
- Interest in fintech, data-driven decision-making, and machine learning concepts
- Ambitious, high-potential mindset with evidence of strong achievement, fast progression, or outstanding academic or professional performance
- STEM degree preferred
- Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Metabase or Looker
- Familiarity with dbt for data modeling, testing, and transformations
- Exposure to fraud, financial, or product analytics
- Spanish or Portuguese proficiency for internal and external communications
Responsibilities
- Explore and analyze data to investigate user behavior, performance trends, and key metrics
- Identify anomalies and opportunities by spotting unusual patterns or spikes
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated reports
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for product and operational improvements
- Help define and refine KPIs
- Document analyses, methodologies, and assumptions
- Contribute to modeling tasks and structured experiments
