About the Role
You will own block-level implementation and verification, drive timing closure and PPA optimization, and improve physical design and CAD flows. You will collaborate with RTL designers, optimize EDA tool flows, track project convergence, and supervise outsourced physical design work.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of physical design experience
- Experience with RTL synthesis through GDSII sign-off methodology
- Experience with back-end design and timing closure on advanced process nodes of 5nm and below
- Experience with Cadence Innovus and Genus or Synopsys ICC2 and Fusion Compiler flows
- Experience with sign-off tools including PrimeTime, Tempus, or Voltus
- Experience with UPF low-power methodology, power verification, synthesis, scan insertion, ATPG, formal verification, floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, IR drop, and EM or antenna analysis
Responsibilities
- Own block-level implementation and verification
- Run physical design flows and close blocks
- Support ASIC and CAD infrastructure
- Automate and optimize physical design tool flows
- Collaborate with RTL designers to improve PPA
- Drive project-convergence dashboards
- Work with EDA vendors on tool features
- Supervise outsourced physical design work
