About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, and operations, partnering with Engineering and other teams to design, launch, monitor, and scale robust payment method integrations within Unlimit's fintech ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years in payments, fintech, product delivery, or a related field; 6+ years for Senior Specialist.
- Solid understanding of online payment mechanisms, payment flows, settlement, notification systems, and API integrations.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and contributing to technical solution design.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organized and collaborative, with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for translating between business needs and technical specifications.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of alternative payment methods from research and planning through integration, launch, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure payment method reliability and efficiency against business and market requirements.
- Manage relationships with external payment partners and internal technical teams.
- Define requirements, functional flows, and acceptance criteria for new integrations.
- Collaborate with Engineering on technical solutions, best practices, and operational demands.
- Coordinate Engineering, QA, Operations, and Compliance dependencies for timely releases.
- Analyze payment KPIs including success rate, conversion, latency, declines, and transaction errors.
- Investigate payment issues, identify root causes, and use dashboards, logs, alerts, and data insights to improve the platform.
- Evaluate new payment opportunities based on market fit, merchant demand, and technical complexity.
- Develop documentation and guides, support go-to-market activities, and align Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Risk stakeholders.
