About the Role
Own contract intake and first-round markup of investment-related NDAs, support UK lawyers with drafting and legal work, coordinate client workflows, manage document portals, and drive contracts through execution while maintaining speed, precision, and commercial soundness.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience recommended in a transactional or corporate practice group or in-house commercial legal team
- Hands-on exposure to commercial contracts and investment-related NDA drafting
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Strong grasp of relevant legal concepts and commercial pragmatism
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with a builder's mindset
- Exposure to private capital, fund structures, or investor onboarding workflows is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Own intake and first-round markup of investment-related NDAs and related documents
- Ensure contracts meet queue and client turnaround targets
- Support UK lawyers with first-round drafting and ad hoc legal work
- Set up and coordinate client workflows
