About the Role
You will analyze and optimize power delivery and signal integrity for high-speed interfaces. You will run DC, AC, and electromagnetic simulations; address IR drop, PDN impedance, crosstalk, reflection, and insertion loss; develop advanced package solutions and automated flows; and work with DSP engineers on implementation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience
- Expert use of SI/PI simulation tools including ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, or Keysight ADS
- Ability to correlate simulation and measurement using VNA, TDR, and 10GHz-plus oscilloscopes
Responsibilities
- Perform DC and AC analysis, including IR-drop and PDN impedance profiling
- Conduct electromagnetic simulations for high-speed interfaces
- Mitigate crosstalk, reflection, and insertion loss
- Lead implementation of 2.5D, 3D, and chiplet package solutions
- Develop automated design flows using optimization techniques
- Collaborate with DSP engineers on implementation
