About the Role
You will oversee daily warehouse production, staffing, shipping and receiving, equipment use, and robot fleet operations. You will coach and develop hourly associates, maintain accurate operational and timekeeping records, support safety and OSHA compliance, and recommend improvements to warehouse processes.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of warehouse experience; highly automated e-commerce experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
- Working knowledge of WMS systems
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Communication skills
- Experience approving payroll time
- Knowledge of warehouse and mechanical equipment
- Forklift certification
- Knowledge of performance metrics, process improvement, 5S, and Lean tools
- English and Spanish
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours
- Ability to perform required bending, stretching, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to work at elevated heights using fall-protection equipment
- Ability to lift and move required weights, including occasionally more than 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse production and support hourly facility goals
- Develop shipping and receiving schedules and assignments
- Supervise warehouse personnel and match skills to required work
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness
- Optimize equipment utilization and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Determine shift productivity requirements and balance labor staffing
- Submit daily end-of-shift reports
- Recommend and support operational improvement initiatives
- Manage warehouse robots, support robot recovery operations, and document maintenance issues
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings
- Support training, onboarding, motivation, coaching, and performance reviews for personnel
- Partner with Management and Human Resources to address employee relations and disciplinary matters
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records
- Ensure safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations
- Support safety programs, OSHA compliance, and injury reporting processes
