About the Role
You will immerse yourself in operational workflows to understand end-to-end processes before designing durable software solutions. You will build, deploy, monitor, and own production automations and UIs, partner with frontend engineers, define platform opportunities, and ensure auditability, traceability, and data lineage.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience operating complex, large-scale production systems.
- Strong business sense and understanding of operations.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Go, including concurrency and memory management.
- Experience building user-facing features end-to-end with TypeScript and React.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Ability to reason about human workflows as systems.
- Experience with observability, tracing, and continuous profiling.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- High ownership mindset with a bias toward durable structural fixes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor production automations and UIs.
- Partner with frontend engineers to productize operations tooling.
- Execute operational procedures to identify manual processes for automation.
- Instrument and report baseline and outcome metrics and iterate based on impact.
- Produce Platform Opportunity Briefs and RFCs.
- Collaborate with licensed leadership, Compliance, and Security on auditable automations.
- Own CI/CD, monitoring, on-call rotations, and incident response.
- Ensure auditability, traceability, and data lineage.
