About the Role
You will lead KYB/KYC client onboarding, KYC refreshes, high-risk customer reviews, and enhanced due diligence. You will manage and supervise a team and external contractors, coordinate cross-functional work with product, engineering, sales, finance, and legal, and own client audits, retention, and contract renewals. You will design data-driven reporting, negotiate client agreements, and drive improvements to onboarding and client-related processes.
Requirements
- Proven people management experience preferably in financial services or fintech
- College degree
- 7-10+ years of AML and relevant professional services experience
- Proven experience with KYB KYC EDD and client onboarding responsibilities
- Experience with third-party case management and project management tools
- Strong time management and ability to execute under tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills across regions and business units
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Crypto experience a plus
- ACAMS certification a plus
- Experience with MSBs a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders
- Lead collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Serve as first point of contact for billing accounts receivable and third party audit requests
- Organize and lead monthly calls and quarterly business reviews with supported clients
- Contribute to monthly revenue tracking and reporting
- Create account-based strategies focused on enablement account mapping upselling and co-marketing
- Channel client feedback to Engineering Product Sales Finance and Marketing
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive additional service usage
- Negotiate client agreements contracts and legal documents
- Design and implement data-driven reporting to track client satisfaction
- Own retention and contract renewals
- Maintain operational excellence and implement improvements to client-related processes
