About the Role
You will take end-to-end ownership of the London office, managing its daily operation, suppliers, contracts, budgets, systems, compliance and workplace standards. You will resolve office issues, plan improvements, coordinate events and offsites, support onboarding, maintain documentation and help create an inclusive and high-performing workplace.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning office, workplace or business operations.
- Experience in a fast-growing company is preferred.
- Confidence managing suppliers, contracts, budgets and external relationships.
- Experience maintaining facilities, health and safety, security and office access standards.
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
- Ownership of problems through to clear resolution.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Hands-on approach to improving processes and systems.
- Strong interest in fintech, tokenisation and high-growth scale-ups.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day operation and experience of the London office.
- Set and maintain workplace standards, processes and service levels.
- Manage building management, landlord and supplier relationships.
- Own supplier contracts, renewals and service reviews.
- Manage the office budget, expenditure, invoices and workplace cost reporting.
- Oversee health and safety, security, office access and workplace compliance.
- Resolve office-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Plan for the changing needs and future growth of the office.
- Lead workplace projects and improvements from planning through delivery.
- Deliver company events, team socials and offsites.
- Oversee workplace onboarding with People and IT.
- Improve employee lifecycle processes with People, IT, Finance and Operations.
- Create and maintain office guidance and documentation.
- Build and nurture an inclusive and collaborative office culture.
