About the Role
You will perform Level 2 non-destructive testing on base metals and welds at sites and prefabrication facilities. You will apply inspection instructions and plans; conduct visual, penetrant, magnetic-particle, ultrasonic, and radiographic testing; use testing and metrology equipment; organize radiographic inspections in line with regulations; analyze initial results; and consult Level 3 COFREND personnel when needed.
Requirements
- Experience in non-destructive testing or operating industrial machinery
- MS Office proficiency
- Mathematics knowledge, including trigonometry
- Electrical engineering knowledge at least at BEP or vocational-baccalaureate level
- Ability to make precise equipment adjustments
- Driving licence B
- English is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Perform Level 2 non-destructive testing on base metals and welds
- Apply work-tracking sheets, drawings, and inspection instructions
- Conduct visual, penetrant, and magnetic-particle testing
- Use endoscopes, cameras, and magnetic-particle testing equipment
- Conduct ultrasonic and radiographic testing
- Use prescribed metrology equipment for ultrasonic testing
- Organize radiographic inspections in accordance with regulations
- Analyze initial inspection results
- Consult Level 3 COFREND personnel when needed
