About the Role
Ensure mining equipment operates at peak performance through hardware maintenance, system monitoring, repairs, preventative measures, and compliance with safety and operational protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational mining training is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical work, or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and related technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for 7 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
- Willingness to follow strict safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Inspect mining equipment and address potential issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions with mining engineers and team members.
- Follow safety protocols during mining operations.
- Install and set up new mining equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency.

- Replace or clean air filters as needed.
- Operate tools and machinery required for maintenance.

- Remain on call during emergencies.
