About the Role
You will provide virtual mental health services to pregnant and postpartum patients with perinatal mood disorders. You will conduct one-to-one patient encounters, provide live and asynchronous support, use evidence-based perinatal techniques, and apply technology to improve education and outcomes. You will also build safe, effective care processes that strengthen patient engagement.
Requirements
- Hold an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- Be fluent in English
- Hold a license to practice in California
- Have 3+ years of active patient-care experience
- Have previous telemedicine experience
- Be available for intermittent phone and video meetings
- Have unrestricted and independent authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide telemedicine-based treatment for perinatal mood disorders for pregnant and postpartum patients
- Conduct one-to-one patient encounters, with potential future group therapy options
- Provide live and asynchronous patient support
- Use evidence-based techniques that are safe and effective in the perinatal space
- Apply technology to improve patient education and outcomes
- Build systems and processes that provide safe, effective care and improve patient engagement
