About the Role
You will support the post-trade lifecycle of digital asset derivatives including options futures and structured products. You will manage trade capture confirmations margin collateral settlement reconciliations and operational risk controls across OTC and exchange-traded products. You will use Python SQL and Excel to automate workflows, resolve breaks, monitor risks, and improve processes. You will collaborate with trading risk legal compliance finance and external counterparties while helping establish best practices for digital asset derivatives operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting settlement activities for institutional clients across traditional and crypto assets
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and agility
- Strong technical foundation and attention to detail
- Deep understanding of traditional financial services products and strategies
- Understanding of crypto industry trends tokens protocols and custodianship processes
- Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus
- Experience with crypto-native institutions is a plus
- Passion for building early-stage startups is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support on traditional financial services products and strategies
- Manage trade capture confirmation margining and settlement for digital asset derivatives
- Handle bilateral OTC derivatives and exchange-traded derivatives
- Initiate and monitor collateral and margin workflows including IM and VM calculations
- Reconcile positions valuations and P&L across internal ledgers and external platforms
- Resolve operational breaks end to end
- Automate trade capture cash and collateral workflows using Python SQL and Excel
- Manage products and counterparties across time zones and legal jurisdictions
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational risk through tooling controls and automation
- Create presentations and reports and lead process improvement projects
- Prioritize and triage competing tasks accurately
- Assess organizational and client risks and address complex questions
- Define standards and best practices for digital asset derivatives operations
- Stay current on cryptocurrency trends regulatory guidelines and settlement practices
- Share knowledge and avoid single points of failure
- Coach colleagues and identify process shortcomings
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties
- Resolve settlement-related issues with traders operations compliance officers and executives
