About the Role
You will design and integrate actuator and sensor subsystems for robot modules. You will define integration interfaces with embedded engineers, develop reliable wiring and cable-routing strategies, calibrate and troubleshoot components, and support hardware bring-up and prototype validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on design experience with electromechanical systems, including motors, actuators, sensors, and gearboxes
- Experience with hardware-module system integration, calibration, and testing
- Ability to read and create mechanical CAD and electrical schematics
- Understanding of embedded systems, communication interfaces, and sensor integration
- Familiarity with real-time systems and collaboration with software and embedded teams
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate actuator and sensor subsystems for robot arms, grippers, and other modules
- Define interfaces and integration points with embedded engineers
- Develop wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable-routing strategies
- Assist with calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of sensors and electromechanical components
- Support hardware bring-up and prototype validation of new modules
