About the Role
You will assemble, inspect, test, and maintain robotic systems, prototypes, fixtures, and production hardware. You will follow detailed build documentation, use mechanical and measurement tools, perform basic electrical assembly tasks, maintain production records, identify build issues, and support manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment
- Ability to follow work instructions, drawings, diagrams, and checklists
- Attention to detail
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of robotic systems, subassemblies, fixtures, tools, and production hardware
- Follow manufacturing instructions, drawings, and assembly documentation
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete builds and rework
- Perform mechanical inspections using measurement equipment
- Support fit checks, hardware installation, cable routing, fastener installation, and system integration
- Assist with wire routing, connector installation, cable management, crimping, and light soldering
- Identify build issues and process-improvement opportunities
- Maintain build records, travelers, inventory logs, checklists, and production documentation
- Maintain robotic systems, workstations, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized 5S-ready work area
- Perform testing related to the assembly process
