About the Role
You will lead complex, high-risk testing programs and develop test-planning approaches. You will design test setups, analyze data, create CAD models and technical drawings, support requirements verification, and apply engineering analysis to rocket motor systems.
Requirements
- Fifteen or more years of mechanical engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- U.S. Person status or eligibility for required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-risk test programs
- Design and oversee testing programs
- Analyze acquired test data and measurement uncertainty
- Develop test-planning frameworks and methodologies
- Create 2D and 3D designs, assemblies, and technical drawings
- Support requirements verification and validation
- Develop program plans and risk-management strategies
- Perform CFD, structural, dynamic, and thermal analysis
