About the Role
You will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for wearable and robotic devices. You will prototype, test, and iterate designs; support DFM and DFA; work with suppliers; perform tolerance, structural, and thermal analyses; and prepare documentation for production release.
Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- CAD skills with OnShape or SolidWorks
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques
- Understanding of DFM and DFA principles
- Experience scaling prototypes to production
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
- Prototype, test, and iterate designs
- Contribute to DFM and DFA efforts
- Work with vendors and suppliers on prototyping, tooling, and production readiness
- Perform tolerance, structural, and thermal analyses
- Prepare documentation for design reviews, testing, and production release
- Integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and industrial design partners
