About the Role
You will own the networking hardware category, including switches, routers, and DPUs. You will negotiate supply agreements, qualify alternate platforms, align purchasing with network roadmaps, and manage lifecycle, firmware, licensing, and support considerations.
Requirements
- Experience sourcing networking hardware at scale from major OEMs.
- Experience managing end-of-life and hardware-generation transitions.
- Knowledge of optics, ASICs, and port speeds.
- Knowledge of firmware, licensing, and support terms.
Responsibilities
- Own the networking hardware category for accelerator-cluster fabrics.
- Negotiate networking OEM supply agreements covering price, lead time, and roadmap access.
- Dual-source critical switch platforms and manage qualification work.
- Align hardware buy plans with network engineering roadmaps.
- Manage hardware lifecycle transitions, firmware, licensing, and support terms.
