About the Role
You will use your planning, organization, and execution skills to help the company profitably grow in Japan. You'll take ownership of marketing campaigns and support the execution of the overall marketing strategy, reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager for APAC and receiving guidance from the Head of Marketing APAC. You'll collaborate with team members from different disciplines around the world, agency partners, and trade show producers to deliver localized B2B marketing initiatives. You'll manage day-to-day relationships with external partners such as digital media planning agencies, PR agencies, and trade show production companies, organize public speaking opportunities for Xsolla experts, and work with business development and digital marketing teams to create content, execute campaigns, and lead events from planning through post-event analysis. This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.
Requirements
- 3-5 years professional experience in agency, brand, ad-technology, or mobile apps related background
- Bachelor degree
- Experience creating and developing trade show and branded B2B experiential marketing events
- Experience preparing and delivering events from start to finish including planning, coordination, execution, and post-event analysis
- Experience working with or for digital media agencies, trade show producers, and public relations agencies
- Native-level Japanese proficiency and fluent English required
- Experience working with or within global companies preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver, execute and measure localized B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives to acquire new gaming leads and partners in Japan
- Create, manage, execute, measure and report on marketing projects across responsible Commerce solutions and services
- Manage day-to-day interactions with external partners including digital media planning agencies, PR agencies, and trade show production companies
- Organize and plan public speaking opportunities for Xsolla experts
- Collaborate with regional business development teams to generate content for onboarding new leads and securing meetings
- Share new ideas and approaches to improve marketing team efficiency and meet marketing objectives
- Work with digital marketing teams to execute paid advertising, organic and paid social media, content distribution, webinars, video content, blogs, and ebooks including translations
- Coordinate with event teams for administrative support and design approval and lead event execution
