About the Role

You will expand PayPay's user base and improve LTV by returning insights gained from analysis back to the organization. You will conduct analysis for KPI definition and improvement, define user segments and apply them to business operations, perform effect estimation, reporting, and validation of marketing initiatives, and improve and streamline analysis workflows, including the use of AI. You will work with massive payment data from over 70 million users, as well as data from the SoftBank Group and PayPay financial group, turning analytical insights into business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of practical experience in a data analysis-related position
  • Practical experience in data aggregation, visualization, and statistical analysis using scripting languages such as SQL or Python
  • Ability to structurally understand business challenges and translate them into appropriate analysis designs
  • Ability to clearly communicate analysis results to non-analyst stakeholders and drive decision-making
  • Ability to respond flexibly and build consensus in fast-paced and uncertain situations
  • Preferred: data analysis experience in payments, FinTech, or large-scale B2C services
  • Preferred: project management or people management experience in an analytics team
  • Preferred: basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning
  • Preferred: experience improving work efficiency using generative AI
  • Preferred: business-level English proficiency
