About the Role

You will own end-to-end production testing for robots at a contract manufacturer. You will create test protocols, provision robot fleets, build automated test infrastructure, track production quality metrics, investigate failures, coordinate corrective actions, train operators, and improve manufacturing processes on site.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production or test engineering experience for complex electromechanical products
• Experience owning end-to-end production test processes and provisioning at a contract manufacturer
• Experience developing test protocols, specifications, fixtures, automated tests, and validation
• Experience provisioning and validating firmware for sensors and compute hardware
• Knowledge of systems integration, sensors, embedded compute platforms, networking, and provisioning
• Hardware, firmware, and system-software debugging skills
• Experience with production KPIs, statistical process control, and metrics reporting
• Ability to work onsite full time at a contract manufacturer and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and maintain production test protocols and gating criteria from incoming inspection through shipment
• Design and operate robot provisioning flows, including imaging, firmware deployment, configuration, and validation
• Own First Pass Yield, cycle time, and test coverage metrics and drive improvements
• Architect, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, harnesses, and test rigs
• Lead root-cause analyses for field and production failures and coordinate corrective actions
• Train operators, debug production-line failures, and refine processes with contract-manufacturing partners
