About the Role
You will drive manufacturing readiness across new product introduction and mass production. You will lead DFM reviews, coordinate prototype and production builds, manage factory execution and risks, work with manufacturing partners, resolve issues, track manufacturing KPIs, and communicate execution status to leadership.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hardware engineering experience, including Technical Program Management, Design Program Management, or Manufacturing Program Management
- Background in mechanical, electrical, systems, or manufacturing engineering
- Experience leading cross-functional hardware programs through NPI and production
- Experience managing manufacturing readiness for complex electromechanical systems or high-performance compute hardware
- Understanding of EVT, DVT, PVT, and production-ramp phases
- Experience leading DFM reviews
- Experience working with contract manufacturers, FATP partners, or ODM/OEM manufacturing operations
- Cross-functional program management skills
- Manufacturing issue-resolution experience
- Experience with AI servers, accelerator systems, networking hardware, storage systems, or high-performance compute platforms
- Familiarity with SMT manufacturing, factory operations, automated test systems, or final system integration
- Experience with manufacturing yield analytics, SPC methodologies, process capability metrics, or manufacturing data systems
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing technical readiness across NPI and mass production
- Lead DFM reviews across L6, L10, and L11 assemblies
- Track build readiness, factory execution, process capability, yield, schedules, and manufacturing risks
- Coordinate prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and production builds
- Develop production plans, line bring-up schedules, tooling readiness, and factory ramp strategies with manufacturing partners
- Drive structured root-cause analysis and issue resolution during builds
- Monitor yield, cycle time, quality, and factory-readiness KPIs
- Prepare manufacturing status, risks, mitigation plans, and execution updates for leadership
- Ensure manufacturing considerations are incorporated throughout product development
- Travel to domestic and international manufacturing partners as needed
