About the Role
You will lead and grow technical specialists supporting customer production workloads across APJ and EMEA business hours. You will guide customer engagements, develop technical expertise, partner with product engineering, and help maintain reliable, high-performing data and AI systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience as a manager.
- 10+ years in the IT industry with a software engineering background and data engineering specialization.
- Experience leading engineering, technical support, or consulting teams.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Production-scale experience in at least two of Big Data, machine learning and artificial intelligence, or data science and streaming use cases.
- Spark expertise.
- Customer-facing support leadership experience.
- Troubleshooting skills across distributed systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a regional team of Data and AI technical experts.
- Provide customer coverage across EMEA and APJ business hours.
- Develop the team's expertise in supporting new platform products and features.
- Engage customers on their Data and AI strategy.
- Partner with product engineering to improve product supportability.
