About the Role

You will ensure the integrity of trade and position reporting submitted to regulators. You will analyze reporting data and discrepancies, work with trading, operations, compliance, and technology partners, implement regulatory changes, and support regulatory inquiries, audits, and system projects.

Requirements

  • Experience with broker-dealer trade and position reporting requirements, including SEC Rules 605, 606, and 613 CAT, MSRB, TRACE, and ACT.
  • Working knowledge of broker-dealer customer and account information systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake or Oracle databases preferred.
  • Understanding of complex order-routing flows and downstream systems.
  • Series 7 license within 6 months of hire.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution.
  • Ability to lead or participate in projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the integrity of trade and position reporting submitted to regulators.
  • Act as an interface between trading desks, operations, compliance, systems development teams, and business partners.
  • Analyze reporting data and resolve issues and discrepancies.
  • Develop reconciliation methods to identify data discrepancies across reporting platforms.
  • Advise internal and external partners on regulatory reporting requirements and rule changes.
  • Support compliance responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and exams.
  • Support regulatory reporting technology projects by documenting user requirements, test plans, and post-production validation.
