About the Role
You will develop, maintain, and publish integrated preconstruction delivery schedules. You will combine internal and external schedules, define activities and resource requirements, analyze critical paths and risks, communicate project tradeoffs, support scheduling standards and training, and produce data analysis and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of construction scheduling experience
- Understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling
- Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage preconstruction schedules and supporting schedule documents
- Develop conceptual and detailed schedules for multiple user groups
- Review contractor, utility, design, subcontractor, and procurement schedules
- Integrate internal and external workstream schedules
- Define activities, scope, duration, logic, interfaces, and resource loading
- Incorporate site, market, and regulatory constraints into planning
- Analyze critical paths and schedule variances
- Develop Monte Carlo and other schedule risk analyses
- Communicate project-development tradeoffs
- Support scheduling policies, procedures, and P6 training
- Develop schedule data analysis and management reports
- Drive scheduling process improvements
