About the Role

You will maintain accurate books of accounts, support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules. You will manage and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely statutory filings. You will prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards, assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and track key financial metrics. You will monitor revenue recognition and billing accuracy, manage accounts receivable and collections, support accounts payable processes, perform bank reconciliations, track cash flow and treasury activities, and strengthen internal financial controls and processes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 4 - 7 years of post-qualification experience in finance accounting or audit
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards financial reporting and audit processes
  • Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in startup fintech or technology-driven companies (preferred)
  • Exposure to multi-entity accounting or international reporting standards (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Manage statutory internal and tax audits
  • Coordinate with auditors and submit required documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with statutory filings and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards
  • Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
  • Track key financial metrics and highlight potential risks or discrepancies
  • Monitor revenue recognition and billing accuracy
  • Track accounts receivable and collections
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations cash flow tracking and treasury activities
  • Strengthen internal financial controls and improve financial processes
