About the Role

You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical, material-handling, and automated equipment, as well as building infrastructure and grounds. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, document work orders and parts usage, maintain inventory, follow safety procedures, and communicate with on-site and overseas colleagues.

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of maintenance and repair experience in an industrial setting
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures
• Ability to respond effectively to staff, managers, and technical representatives
• Ability to use Google Suite, Slack, Microsoft Visual Studio, command prompts, Click Up, and other software applications
• Ability to work on-call, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily maintenance tasks with management and lead technicians
• Repair machines, tools, building infrastructure, and grounds equipment
• Inspect, evaluate, and repair mechanical equipment
• Enter completed work and daily assignments in work-order software
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent
• Read and interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals, and operating procedures
• Identify equipment problems and recommend ways to reduce them
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and replacement parts
• Follow safety procedures, codes, and guidelines
• Attend assigned training and safety sessions
