About the Role

You will plan, coordinate, and continuously improve maintenance and reliability activities at Scrubgrass Generating Station. You will schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; coordinate planned and forced outages; align resources; improve work processes; monitor budgets; report performance; and oversee contractor support.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in power plant or industrial maintenance, including planning and scheduling responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of power plant operations, maintenance, and outage management.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Proficiency with CMMS, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze maintenance issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing conditions, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Schedule maintenance work to optimize equipment availability and reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate major planned outages, including scope, schedules, and resources.
  • Support investigations and resolution of forced outages and unplanned maintenance events.
  • Establish contingency and priority work plans for emergency or forced outage situations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to define, prioritize, and execute work efficiently.
  • Review and recommend improvements to maintenance and operational procedures.
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and sustain maintenance best practices.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities for safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Communicate work plans, resource needs, and scheduling updates to affected departments.
  • Align personnel, materials, and equipment resources with operational requirements.
  • Support maintenance and operations staff training and development.
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring maintenance and outage budgets.
  • Support capital improvement and long-term maintenance plans.
  • Prepare and present maintenance performance metrics and reports.
  • Coordinate with procurement to secure materials, parts, and contractor services.
  • Oversee contractor performance during maintenance and outage projects.
