About the Role
You will lead the development and ownership of machine learning systems for checkout optimization. You will provide technical direction, shape architecture, coach and mentor engineers, align product and engineering goals, guide service design, monitor performance, recruit talent, and foster effective collaboration.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing machine learning engineering teams
- 7+ years of experience in an ML or AI technology environment
- Deep understanding of machine learning products
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineering talent
- Experience leading technical projects in fast-paced critical environments
- Experience setting strategic direction and product roadmaps with senior leadership
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-engineers
- Affinity for shopper and checkout optimization
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the Personalize Intelligence team with technical guidance
- Set architecture strategy and improve engineering standards
- Collaborate with design product data engineering and development stakeholders
- Coach team members on engineering practices architecture and product planning
- Design and implement reliable services
